Sri Lanka Days
Pete and I and our new baby Zoe made the big move to Sri Lanka on October 30th, 2004. Pete was offered a challenging new career with the AFL-CIO Solidarity Center, covering India and Sri Lanka. We decided it was an offer we could not pass up.

April 2006 Up-Country for Singhalese New Year!
Big holiday in Sri Lanka makes for a week off, so we went to the high tea country with friends where we rented a tea estate bungalow for 3 nights. Wonderful cool weather, fabulous views, and a hike with the babies in backpacks to Lipton's Seat. Yes, the one you know as Lipton Tea, whose empire was started from Sri Lanka...
